Tip to future-proof your app against this....

If you build your app without the reliance on automation for mission critical data changes, and you've already got your app open before the crash....

• You can keep working in your app as if nothing is happening
  • This is due to the fact that AppSheet's built for asynchronous connectivity
  • So if you loose your internet connection, you can keep working;
    • That's kinda what happened here, in a way....
    • We all lost connection with the servers - but since nothing the app is built to rely on the servers.... we can keep going like we need to. 👍

Yes this is true... but if you already have it open you can keep using it - as long as you don't rely on automation for data changes.

Pro Tip:  Any change you're making with automation can be made with actions client-side

Down in India as well. Widespread outage. Our critical biz ops are at peak at this time and this has brought it to a complete stop. Please provide ETA for rollback completion and later on RCA for the issue.

Can some of the older, more experienced users comment on how often this happens?

I've been using appsheet for just a few months, and this is the 2nd large outage I experienced. 

How often does this happen? We need to know before we start relying on it even more!
