A column in spreadsheet has dropdown list, but appsheet is considering it as TEXT instead of ENUM.

I am creating a attendance tracker, and have 30-31 columns for each day, in the spreadsheet I have added Lists like P,SL,CL,VL etc. But when I am adding it to the app sheet, it is not considering it as ENUM but as TEXT. Now, to add all the values in all 30 columns is tedious task. 

Can anyone share, whats the issue

In Appsheet, change that column to type = ENUM and tick "Auto-complete other values".  This will then give a drop down of all unique values in that spreadsheet column.
