Access to data for authorities

hi, I would like to ask a question about data security and privacy, is it possible that a state police authority can access the data of a specific app, without the owner’s permission? what is the procedure to follow?

So I’m guessing you want to stop them just accessing your App…

If its on a phone or tablet then I suggest using Security - Options - Encrypt Device Data. Also have it so the phone locks automatically and requires a password or code (not face ID)

On a PC I suggest you encrypt the HDD and have it auto lock

But in practice there’s nothing you can stop them

• issuing Appsheet a subpoena
• issuing your storage provider (e.g. Google Drive) a subpoena
• issuing your login provider (O365) a subpoena
• Getting the URL by reading your browsing history (unless you use TOR)
• Getting the NSA to capture the Appsheet database as it gets transmitted
