Action Button to Bulk Update a Column in Multiple Rows

Hi - I have built a entry checking phase where users tick an action button (adds date checked to a column in the table) to confirm entries are correct. I would now like to take all the entries that are checked and bulk update another column (date filed away say) in the table (to filter them out of working records).

Any idea how would I achieve this?

I wasn’t planning to. The first checked by column holds who and when it was 1st checked. I now just want to bundle them all up and file them away as such, so just wanted to update a second check column with who and when it was archived. I worked out a way by selecting them all first and then clicking an action to update but was hoping to avoid that step and just update all records showing in the slice.

You could probably do that for example with the Data Change/Workflow. Have you tried?
