Actions : Add new rows

Hi everyone.

Is there anyway to add rows with and action button using predefined values.
In my case, user can only add some values in 1 table but some of them are stricly the same everymonth.
It is almost the same action you have created for “Add new row for another table…” but here it should be for the same table.
The idea is to save time to user and to avoid boring repetitive jobs.

Thanks

Though I’ve not tried it, I would expect the Add a row to another table… action to work targeting the same table, despite its name.

@Steve
Thanks for the feedback and working for the same table.
The only thing is the action button can not be displayed prominently.
I suppose it is because the action is : add new row using this data
But it works.

Thanks

Hmm… It works for me–now that I bothered to test. In what way isn’t it working for you? You aren’t allowed to choose Display prominently? The button doesn’t display in the detail view?

I was not clear, I would like to say that I can not diplay the button directly in the table view.
The button can be displayed overlay on a detailed view of record.
Here below the first screen where I would like the button appear, the 2nd one where it is.

Unfortunately, there is no way to display an arbitrary action in the table view. The only actions that may be used in table views are labeled with Not a row-level action.
