Add New button in form pre fill cells

Hi I was wondering if it was at all possible to autofill cells when you have a referenced dropdown and the new button at the top. When you select that whether you could pre fill cells based on the form previous? Say that I had customer A on my first form but wanted to make a new field for them and clicked new under field and it has a blank spot for customer. How do I bring over that Customer A?

But when I click the new button I am still in say customers form instead of going to job name form. How do I make the new button a linktoform?
