I'd like to add a kml file to an app (source is Sharepoing). Having the kml on Google Drive, I can use the following site (http://kolorobot.github.io/permalink/) to generate a permalink for the google drive file location. However, having the kml on sharepoint, this does not work. is there something similar for sharepoint or how can I integrate a kml saved on Sharepoint to my app?
The KML file must be accessible to AppSheet, which means is must be available to the public on the internet, or the file must be stored on your app's primary data source under the directory your app uses.
still not working... the file is stored in the Sharepoint directory which was created by Appsheet when creating the app. And the link is defined as "for everyone with the link". Do you have any suggestions what else could help?
ok, thanks. I've searched a bit but could not find a helpful description. Do you know an instruction site how to get a public URL? I know it's not about appsheet anymore..
No idea actually, I haven't had the need since I consider that Sharepoint is not the right tool for that job. I know that there is a third party service for GDrive btw
