App Formula Issue

1. If I update a value in a row, via an action/webhook/any update that is not manual, will the app formulas recalculate?

N.B Main goal is to be able to have updated information in the table, and minimize the use of virtual formulas which increase the sync time for an app.

2 - Once the parent entry is updated, can the app formulas in the child entries be recomputed?

@Jeremy_F use of AppSheet API for updating row data, will recalculate the AppFormulas and also trigger the workflows if any
