My app has suddenly become slow to render points on a map. The number of points is typically quite small (<20) and it will sometimes show 5 or 6 of them and then over the next few minutes will begin to show the rest. I believe this is related to breaching the google maps geocoding API limit of 1000/month noted in the documentation. That documentation suggests that if you top that limit, the account email address will receive a notice that the limit as been exceeded. We have not seen that notice so I'm looking to see if there is a way to verify that is what is going on here.
1. Is there a way I can look at my account settings and see geocoding usage statistics?
2. Is rate-limiting expected behavior when this limit is exceeded?
3. Any other thoughts on what might be causing this sudden rendering slowness if my above guess is not correct?
