AppSheet - Scannable Form Field but limited to a Enumlist?

Hi,

I am quite new to AppSheet, and still working out the limitations.

On a view I have a field for ID, and without having to duplicate the app/views for different circumstances, I wondered if it's possible to name the 'Scannable' on at the same time as its 

Some could scan ID from a barcode, others may enter via keyboard (Limited to a EnumList dropdown) - It doesn't matter if the dropdown contains ID's from both barcode and 'Keyboard' (preferable actually) - this is so there is some form of validation and not free text.

I am guessing this is not really possible to have both on a field?

A scannable field can certainly be typed into manually (there's a setting to disable this), and display a dropdown. Is that what you're asking?
