Assign keyboard key to an action?

I'm designing an app for my team, who will almost entirely use it on desktop computers.  Is it possible to assign a keyboard shortcut to an action, such as to press the up arrow key to vote an object up, and the down arrow key to vote it down?  I haven't been able to figure out if this is possible or not.

I think that is impossible. But you could just make two action which is one for up vote, and down vote for another one.

AppSheet does not provide any accommodation for keyboard shortcuts.
