Audit Log does not retain 7 days data on Core subscription

Subject line says it all. I have posted about this before but never received any response. One of my apps in particular has only one day's worth of data.

My understanding is that the logs should retain 7 days of data on the Core subscription. Am I correct and there is a bug in the logging or has the amount of data retained changed?
