I assume this is a bug.
I had one app - which had โautentication providerโ โany providerโ in the source app.
the copy had โautentication providerโ โgoogleโ - I assume, that when copy an app, it should be identic in this regards?

@tony Any thoughts?

Hi, when you copy an app it changes the auth provider to match the data provider that youโre copying to. For example, if you copy an app to Dropbox, it will set your auth provider to Dropbox. This decision is based on the common case of people copying a sample or portfolio app.
Copying apps, modifying the copy, and then doing an app upgrade is part of my game plan can I get something that outlines what all is modified when a copy/donโt copy data is executedโฆ Further, some instruction on what is โcopiedโ when I do an app upgradeโฆ
Having an app with a data provider of Google - and a auth provider of Box.
Copying the app - and ask to copying the data as well.
Result:
Copied App (good)
Copied data (in google) (good)
Set the auth provider to Google - not good
Even if you state, that this is by design - if I read you correct - I think this is a strange behavior.
I find Grant_Steadโs question: what is else modified during copying an app - is a very valid question.
