Auto save and auto re-open is not working in desktop(preview) mode.

Hello everyone!

The subject says it all. And I have the following settings:

UX view: auto save and auto re-open (yes)

Advance forms automatically (yes)

I have tried the workaround as mentioned in this post  and it works for the auto re-open part, but not for auto save.

Is there a workaround for auto save? Is this possibly a bug affecting desktop mode?

As far as I understand, it is a bug on new desktop ux, hope the team is working on it to fix.

Desktop view is in preview and is not suitable for use in any important app.
