Autofill form with value taken from current tab view

Hello Community,

  I am currently in a dashboard view where I have shown a few sliced tables in Tab-View.

There is an add button in these views, when the user clicks it, one of the fields in the form should be auto-filled. See the below screenshot for a clear understanding.

The Vehicle Type should be auto-filled i.e., Forklift, RMC etc.

Can someone help?

For each view instead of using the system generated Add action, create an action of type App: Go to another view within this app and set the target with a LINKTOFORM (see this help entry) expression where you can specify values for your form fields (Vehicle Type in your case)

Then how should I have a "show" condition? Because I will be creating four different actions for different vehicle types as you said.

Don't you have a view per your slice?

You can create an action per your view.

There is already an example app created and published. Take a look.
