Black Primary color does not seem to work as expected when selecting a text.

When setting the primary color to black, selected texts in the app do not show up as presented in the Theme & Brand view where a white text is used over a black background for obvious readability needs. 

Is there something I am missing on how to set the text color in that particular scenario?

Noticed this too yes, if selecting dark colours, the text is unreadable on selecting....
