Hey friends:
Had a weird experience today where a user had their edits in the app refuse to sync. They received a message that a newer version of the app was live and they needed to refresh and discard those stored row changes. Thing is, I didnโt update the app today, it was like 3 days ago.
After fumbling around on a screenshare, I noticed they were accessing my app from a bookmark and that they had bookmarked the appโs main view instead of the appsheet.com/start/12345 share link. My theory is that using this bookmark caused them to load a locally cached version of the app instead of the fresh one.
Is this a known thing? Should users not bookmark already-logged-in views? Any other theories?
