Can I show a watermark in a template dependent on an expression?

I'd like to show a watermark in the background of a Google Docs template based on an If expression (as you can with tables etc.) - is this possible?

As far as I know, it's not possible as it's an object on the background.

Ahhh, OK.
It was just to put 'Failed' in the background of a report.  Worst case scenario is that I'll use duplicate templates (one for Passed and one for Failed) and and let the bot choose the correct template.

That's the only workaround I can think of as the watermark goes to all pages.
