Can a view be linked to the search results of another view?

I have a table view and a chart view of the same slice shown in a dashboard view.

I love the integrated search feature in Appsheet and would like for both views to respond to the search of the table view.

I have done something that works but is not as nice as the native search. I created a filter table and a slice built on the filter table information (filtered_slice). The table and chart views are based on this filtered_slice. It works but I'd prefer to use the native search. 

Is it possible to capture the active search in a table view and create a slice on that search?
