Can't Edit in App, despite Spreadsheet having NO formulas

Hello,

I am trying to set columns to "Editable" in the AppSheet editor.  I continuously get an error message saying "Column Name 'WO 2' in Schema 'Chart 5s 2_Schema' of Column Type 'Text' has a 'Sheet Formula' so the column is being marked 'Read Only'."

There are NO formulas anywhere in the spreadsheet.

Can anyone help?  Thanks.

Per chance WERE there formulas when you integrated (or last regenerated) the table?

• If so, they were copied into the column settings.

If you open the column settings (the little pencil icon in Data > Columns > Your Table) you'll find a field for "Spreadsheet formula" - clear this if it has anything.

That's basically what I did.  Using these instructions found in a Google search:

I did the Auto Compute expanding, and found old formulas in the 'Spreadsheet Formula' field.  They were old formulas that I had only deleted in the actual SPREADSHEET, while trying to trouble shoot this.

I deleted these residual formulas from the App editor 'Spreadsheet Formula' field under Auto Compute, and it worked!
