Card layout in Detail view

HI,
Question regarding ‘Use Card Layout’ in the Detail view…

I’ve set up my view the way I like it.
Consists of
Card layout: a Column to show as the Card header, Long text in the Long piece of text and an action on the bottom right.
Detail section: few columns selected.
Slideshow is ON

The ‘Detail’ columns change value, as expected, as I scroll/slide right in the View.
However the Card section does not. The values of the first row are displayed, they’re static and don’t change to other rows as we move right/left

Is this by design? a bug? Any solution/workaround?
