Change date to today() when there is a new input

Hello appsheet community!!

I come once again because i need your help. I have a simple question. I have prescheduled jobs that need to be done before a certain date. What i need is that when the job is given to a tech the date changes to today().

Or consider using an expression in the “Reset On Edit?” field for the column.

unfortunately the workflow and reports is not able to do what i need. I am going to give it a try with the “reset on edit” option. thanks!
