Change sheet for test version

How do I create a test version of my app by copying but move to a copy of the sheet as well, I notice if you just follow the obvious steps, the new copy uses the same sheet as the live version.

Those are the settings I used. It utilises the same sheet as the live version. What I want to do is copy both the app and the sheet and have the copy app use the copy sheet.

Yes that's what it is supposed to do with that option. If it doesn't work, then it's a bug that you should be reporting to support. Make sure you test it again to make sure.

Nope, you are wrong.

The setting for "Make a copy of the data..." actually creates a new file with the data of the previous app on the default folder of the new app

Thanks, realised my error now - the problem is that the sheets all have the same filename and so it gets confusing with multiple ones as to which is the connected version.
