Connecting to a SQL Database

Hello,

I'm trying to connect my App to an SQL database but I don't know what might be going wrong.

I have added the list of Appsheet IP Addresses:

I've checked my Shared IP Address

And my user is in place

However when I try to connect I'm getting this message:

Is it possible because I'm using a Free account? I'm not really sure what else I might be doing wrong.

No, I don't think it's because of a free account.  I think AppSheet still allows free accounts to connect to a db.

Have you tried connecting to the db from db access software?  You eventually will want to anyway to inspect tables and data and make db or data changes easily.

A few other things:

1)   If you had just setup the db at the host site, it might take a few minutes or more for your configuration to take hold.  Try again.

2)  Double check that you included ALL of the AppSheet server IP's.

3)  Try connecting with SSL on, maybe your db host configures with SSL on by default?

4)  Double check that you are using the correct password
