Copy parent and child rows to create a new record with same values

hi, 

i created this recipe app. a recipe has about 15 ingredients. i wish to create variants of same recipe without having to create a new recipe from scratch.

how can i duplicate and existing recipe with all its child records to create a new recipe recipe details.jpg
