Creating new tables based on entries in one table

Hi All,

Is it possible in Appsheet to do the following sequence?:

1. Create a new row (e.g. Training Department) in a table (e.g. Buildings)
2. Automatically create a new table (e.g. Training Department Cracks) based on the action in step 1.

I want to have a master table with a list of buildings, then add buildings as necessary, then create new tables from each new entry in the buildings master table, and then represent each of the new building tables as an XY map with points of interest marked on the map.

I’m afraid that’s nt possible at this moment. You need to add a new table manually.

@Aleksi Okay, understood. But when selecting the background image for an XY/Map combination layout (like the Office Furniture Management sample app), must the image be hosted on a public domain? Is it not possible to use the same storage location where the app and all the uploaded images are located (i.e. on the cloud service like Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive)?

Yes you can have it in the same folder but you need to use the shareable public URL for that image.
