Date is going wrong / input date on calendar in uk format but it switches to US

Hi folks.

Everything seemed to be working fine.

I have a calendar app set up.

If I click on a date and input an event, all seems well.
Eg, 11th August 2023.

However, when I refresh it it disappears from the view, and I then find the event booking is on 8th November 2023.

So the 8 and 11 have switched round.

The only way I can fix it is by opening the EVENT spreadsheet and manually changing the date.

Any thoughts?

If you are using Google Sheets, go to menu File --> Settings --> General

In the AppSheet editor, go to Data --> "your table" --> Table Settings --> Localization

Make sure your sheet and your AppSheet table are set to the same localization/locale.

How?

And could you shed any light on why it would suddenly change after working fine for a couple of months?

I don't know

If it was working fine and changed, then it must be something tied to your browser's locale (which seems to check the device's locale)
