Disable dropdown in a ref

I want disable dropdown when press in a ref, only want text or scan QR.

I dont want see the dropdown.

Hi can you add some context on this?If I understand it correct  you just want the disable the dropdown after the iser select from the dropdown list right? I suggest you can add condition in the "editable formula" Isblank([dropdownlist]).

When you press the REF, you have a dropdown, and i dont want it, i want write without read nothing. No clue.

I dont want a dropdown.

Change the column type from the Ref to Enum base of Ref.
