Display Images in large size when clicked/tapped

We have an image field, that contains a full URL value. We can see the image in the Table view, but the image is quite small and hard to see particular details. We would like to be able to be able to click/tap the image, to have a larger version of the same image be displayed.

i.e. we want the image to just expand to the full size of the phone / page. when tapped again, it should disappear.

We do not want the image to load in a browser etc, as we want to be easily able to return back to the page on the app that we were on, and do not want to wait for anything to load.

Is there a way to do this?

If you set the system generated URL action as an Event action when the row is clicked, it will open it directly. Though this will happen always. If you would use Deck View, you could show that action and the detail view is not needed.
