Display name in "Show" type Column in embedded Email not displaying in email

Hello Ive put a link for uploading in the embedded appview for for this app im working on in the display for preview shows the display name I want but when the email is sent out it shows the entire link im not sure if there is any way to change that in the embedded email.

I have not played with embedded emails yet.  I would suggest trying to use the HYPERLINK() function.  I have not had any luck in using it in a email but that may be because I always tried using it in the email body directly.  I saw an example this week where it was the App Formula of the column.  Maybe for an embedded email it works better.  Good luck!
