Editing the same row in my inline list

Hi all,

I would really appreciate any input on an issue I'm having with an inline list editing the same row.

I have a workout app and I completed the week 1 workout, data for the bench press is shown the first image below.

When I completed this exercise in week 2, it overwrites the week 1 row/data instead of week 2.

Both have different IDs related to the workout and week. 

The App goes from the workout they select on the applicable week to an inline list. This inline list pulls the exercises related to the applicable workout ID in a ref. 

When selecting an exercise in the inline list, it takes me to a details screen, which shows the correct ID for week 2 (shown in the second image)

However, it still overwrites week 1 and leaves week 2 blank.

Any idea how I can get it to edit the applicable row? 

Hope this all makes sense. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Which column is set as the key?

Hi Marc,

Thank you for replying. Currently, it is the Workout ID that is the key. 

Should I have this as something else to edit the relevant rows?

I'm not always sure what column is best for the key.

Hi Marc, 

I have just realised that the exercise sheet had another column as the key. I have changed the workout ID to the key on that sheet and it is now working.

I now realized that the key for the exercise sheet was in a different column in alight motion online free. It is now operational after I changed the workout ID to the key on that sheet.
