Almost every time I copy an app I will see this error message. Eventually, I will get a fully copied app. It will be flagged as "Not runnable" but opening it in the Editor, making some benign change and SAving...I end up with a fully operational copied app.
How much time to wait? I have found it depends on app size. Smaller apps seem to complete with NO errors.
What is happening? I BELIEVE, the copy process hits a timeout in the portion of the copy meant to notify us of the progress...so screen updates are halted. BUT, the actual copy process continues running in the background and will eventually complete.
Occasionally, I will hit a situation where the app does NOT successfully copy...or maybe I am not waiting long enough. Re-starting the process and waiting the necessary amount of time results in success. I have had one complex app take several attempts before I got a useable copy but the "re-copy" situations have been rare.
