Excel Report Attachment - Related Records

Is there a way to correctly add a related list into an excel report. I have created the below and keep receiving an error saying unmatched start expression. I put it in a PDF format and it worked perfectly.

You may not be able to display the related list in the same Excel sheet.

Could you do it in reverse and show the Parent table data using the Ref column in the related list?

e.g. <<[Part Request Details].[Requested By]>>

Might have to change the formatting a bit to achieve this and set up a slice for [Status] = "Quote Requested" and run the report from the slice? I don't have anything similar set up to test with but might be worth a shot? 

Excel templates are not meant for reporting or printing, it's just a way to export data on a range

Very limited indeed.

Print to a PDF instead, or use HTML; I find PDFs easier myself

And I also mean about the general use people do for GSheets and MSExcel.
I know that it can be used to have some kind of templates for later printing, but it doesn't mean it should
