Files and downloading

hello I made a database app where people can upload their files but when they click the file it try’s to open it in the browser instead of downloading it?

is there a way to make it downloadable when you click the file or something like that ???

I am using the app in windows BTW

Hi,

I’m not entirely sure if there is a way to directly download a file even with an action at this point although would be a great feature, but I think that once the user has opened the file they should then be able to download it, whilst in the browser.

@Steve Do you know of a way to directly download a file without opening in browser first?

my file is a .fbx file so there is not options to save in the browser

I do not; I don’t think direct-download is possible.

You should be able to email it to them as an attachment
