Form column order

Testing a form in the mobile app and noticed that if I click next on my phone keyboard it skips some fields. Does this have to do with column order in the database or slice and is there a solution other than reordering columns in the db? Something I can easily do on the appsheet side?

The only way you can reorder columns in a form view is the slice and then using that slice as a source for your form view.

And that should make tabbing or hitting next go from column to column in order? Because my form is based off a slice and it’s skipping around.

Tabbing in browser view appears to work, it’s the mobile device and hitting next that is giving me an issue. Anyone else had this issue before?

Next? What next do you mean? There is no next button except when there are multiple pages in the form.

On my cell phone’s keyboard there is a next button. I think most smartphones have that - it’s basically tab for the phone.

Ah, yes. I see what you mean: for me, it seems to skip some columns entirely.
