Format rule if value in column A is higher than column B

Hi all
I have got my head around formatting rules to some extent, but for the purpose of an alert if inventory goes below a certain value I was wondering how I would type the condition if one column level is higher than the other that the total would be red and bold.

Each Format Rule is evaluated against each row, so the expression you would would be simply:

[Column A] > [Column B]

Place this in the โ€œIf this condition is trueโ€ area of the rule.

Then

  1. Select the column or columns you would like to be formatted - Total Column
  2. Set Text color = red
  3. Set Text Format Bold switch turned on.

i hope this helps!

Thank you John, it didnโ€™t work at first but then I realised I had one column as a text instead of a number. But itโ€™s good now.
