Formatting the signature field

My signature field does not have a distinct border where singnature/drawing is not accepted and often when the client signs he/she signs over the are that does not record the signature in the signature box and the recorded signature is cut at the top or bottom. On the appsheet help the signature box shows a light grey border but on my up that does not show everything is white and over 80% of the signtures we get are cut off. How can I format that border?

I did notice that in dark mode there is a border, but I would like to use it in light mode. I imagine that in the help https://support.google.com/appsheet/answer/10107664?hl=en they are using appsheet and theirs seems to render a light grey border in light theme.

AppSheet has been changing slowly and that's why some things don't look the same as the docs

I appreciate your knowledge, is there any way to bring this to their attention? I would venture to say that this should not be hard for them to correct.

Actually.. if you check the area close enough, you are able to see a VERY light grey area.. but it's difficult to see. Let me ask to have a little bit darker color.
