Formulas for show-type columns?

Hi, I am using show-type columns to create section headers in my form. Because I am adding them directly to the app as virtual columns, Appsheet says I can’t leave the ‘App formula’ field blank, but then it uses the ‘Content’ field under ‘Type details’ to determine the text of the header. So what is the point of the formula? Or if there’s no point to it, what should I put there so Appsheet doesn’t give me an error?

So far the only answer I’ve come up with is to set the formula as a text string which Appsheet then seems to ignore - is that really what I’m meant to be doing in this situation?

Ah, my mistake! I must have misremembered.

Still, if I want to add header columns just to an app not to the underlying data, it has to be via virtual columns, right? So my original questions still stand?
