Grid-formatted labels template

Any good solutions for having a google doc template that puts repeating information into format for an avery label.  I would like to print out membership cards.  I have a template that will show the correct repeating information for each member, but I'm not sure how I can get the information to format into the correct arrangement for a page with 4x4 business card labels.

Use tables.

My repeats will be happening across both rows and columns, so before I can use a table, I need a way of knowing which repetition number I'm on to decide whether the next data should occupy the next column or start a new row.

Thanks! Yes this approach might work well. I don’t see anything designating a new row but it looks like it happens anyway.  For something as rigid as an Avery template I think I will try to adapt it so that the full page is structured and no independent new row decisions are made by the div flows.
