I want to accumulate a value of a column monthly by 1.25. anyone knows how?

You can try with scheduled workflow. A script is another alternative.

Would you please describe your request little more. I couldn’t get the point. Where do you want to accumulate the value? In virtual column, workflow, where?

@Aleksi_Alkio should i go for if now is equals to feb 1 then value is equal to value +1.25 then etc. Then on the on the 31 of dec value is equals to zero. Can i do that script with the year? Only looking at the mm and dd. Sorry noob on script here
