Highlight items on a map view

Hello

On the map view, is it possible to have different colours for different types of items .

Eg you have activity records which track deliveries made by different vehicles  . It would be nice to easily differentiate on a map. is that possible ? or would i have to set up different maps for each vehicle and stick them in a dashboard ?

Customize map pins

Hi thanks for coming back so quickly and yes the link makes sense 

however when i try it the detail page is affected ( see the location field )  but not the actual map pin 

please see the attached screenshot 

Am i missing something ?

I don't know, and haven't directly used map pins myself.

Confirm that in the format rule you indeed selected the table and column that is represented by the map pin. If you need more help, someone may be able to provide guidance if you post some screenshots showing the configuration of that column, of the view, and of the format rule.
