You will need to set explicit condition on the template you will use.

For reference, in section “If Expressions Can Conditionally Format a Field”:
@Steve : if this is possible, I think we would benefit from having a screenshot associated to the expressions provided. Expressions show the benefit of using separated If statement, but bold and color or not visible.
