How to change the sequence of workflow rules to be triggered

I set many workflow rules. How to set the sequence of workflow rules to be triggered? Thank you.

Provided they are seperate workflow rules, you can’t set any sequence unfortucately. However, if there are workflow rules where the conditional statement are identical, then you can create nested workflow rules containing multiple steps/rules where you can arrange the order or execution.

Unfortunately, conditional statement are different. The sequence of running the rules are important. How does the system decide which rules to run first? Thank you.

Depending on which conditional statement is evaluated first I believe. I don’t have the info about the internal execution settings but @Phil can feedback way better than me.
