How to put italic on certain words?

Greetings!

Im using appsheet to make a inventory of the specimens on lab that i work, and for that the cientific name ALWAYS need to be on italic, how can i do this in app sheet? 

I cant find a way to do it manually, any tips on how can i do it??

I put <i>name</i>, with the long text setting and the option "formatting" doesnt appear as indicated

If you didn't already, be sure you also followed the other column configuration steps detailed in the announcement I linked to. You probably also need to enable the AppSheet preview program - AppSheet Help.
