I have a Tasks table, a Volunteers table that references Tasks.

I have a Task Detail view with an Associated Volunteers based on a Task ID.

I have a Volunteers Table view and a Volunteers_Inline table view automatically generated by App Sheet.

I modified the columns to display in the inline view to be different from the main Table view.

But I noted that the Table view is still being used as the inline view.

I cannot find anywhere were I specify which view to use in the List-type column.

Documentation says that Appsheet uses the system-generated inline views, but in my test, I am finding that it is using the Table view instead.

How can I change the view used in the list column to the inline view?

You are probably using the position like REF for your table view. It will then use that view for the inline view. Can you change the table view’s position?

@Aleksi_Alkio Thank you, yes, I did have 2 table views for the same data and both were Ref views.

Since I am not using the menu, I just updated them to menu views.

Once the only view available as Ref was the Inline view, AppSheet started using it for the inline list table.

Thanks

You’re welcome
