We have built a large all-in-one solution for our business that allows us to manage most aspects of our operation, but we still have a problem with errors or exceptions not being visible enough.
Push notifications aren't really suitable, as they would need to be bot-powered due to the way issues are flagged (they are not always realtime and sometimes rely on other data or events before flagging) and can simply be dismissed, and email notifications are similarly problematic.
As of this moment, I flag issues with formatting, which is fine in the menu, but I need a way to make it more visible for a user who's on the web app.
Has anyone found a good way to make notifications super visible in-app? Ideally, I would change the colour of the menu icon to red, but I don't think that's possible, so I'm looking for other ideas.
