Invoice Register

My goal is to build an automated process that registers the invoices that are sent to a certain email.  

The way it would work is:

  1. Vendor emails invoice or registers it via an app/website
  2. Key information is logged into a table which includes:
    1. Vendor Name
    2. Amount invoiced
    3. Services/products being charged for
    4. Date/time when invoice was sent/received
    5. Name of individual or email account from where invoice was submitted from
  3. Invoice is stored in a Google Drive folder

Any suggestions on how to automate this type of process?

Maybe you could use the new Apps script features.

FYI, I am a novice using Apps.
