We have a scope where we have built a "base" app, and then we replicate this app to individual instances, which connect to their own databases.
The most cumbersome part of the 'copy' process is to attach the new DB to each of the tables (about 30 of them). We have tried to allow appsheet to copy the data, but it will only do so on the same DB server, and we, for security, silo each DB to its own instance, so our current process is this:
- Copy app (but do not copy data sources)
- Connect new cloud DB to our appsheet account
- go to copied app, and update each table's source to the new DB.
Is there a more efficient way to do this? Can we automate the table updates in some manner?
