Is it possible to generate a Google document instead of a PDF?

I know that through Apps Script it is possible to develop a function just for that, but I would like to know if it is possible to do this directly through AppSheet.

In the task template I only find PDF, HTML, CSV and others, none to generate a Google Doc. Although generating PDF works very well and it is possible to use a Google Doc as a template, I would like the generated file to be a Google Doc, because I need the result to be editable.

I believe currently generating a Google doc report document  is not natively possible in AppSheet.

This post should be bumped to enable/add this function! 

The problem with non .doc generate is headers and footers. When convert to .pdf or .html mess with all document organization.
