Is this the right app for me?

Hello,

I'll try to make this as short as possible, I want to know if this app will work for me.

I want to build 12 separate inventory management apps on app sheet, each app would be for a different location where my clients store rooms are based hosted on a tablet at each site.

Each Sunday I will need an email from each site (app) with data for stock replenishment from the central warehouse.

Can this use "off the shelf" bluetooth barcode scanners?

Will this work for me?

Do you know of something that will?

Hello @RyanB86, I'll answer every point one by one:

1- You don't need 12 separate apps, you need 1 good app that lets you handle different sites, I advice you learn more about the platform before you dive into serious app creation.
2-You can get that email using automation
3-AppSheet only allows barcode scanning using the camera of mobile devices, it doesn't work any other way
4-You can absolutely make an app for all this, it's all core AppSheet functionality.

EDIT: Point 3 is wrong, it works with mobile devices and not just with their camera, it's just like @Marc_Dillon said.

Yes, Appsheet is great for inventory management.

I would highly suggest NOT building 12 different apps, but simply a single app that utilizes appropriate Security Filters and whatnot to handle each location.

External barcode scanners will almost always just input the scanned barcode as if someone had typed it on their keyboard into the input field. So yes, they typically work just fine.
